Wines of Bordeaux

During this tour, we will taste the choice wines of Bordeaux region, which is the heartland of French wine production. All along our pleasant and comfortable trip, participants will be provided with detailed information on wine tasting and wine production. We will also discover some of the production and tasting secrets of the region on our trips to selected castles and vineyards.

Day 1: Toulouse – Bordeaux

After being picked up by our professional guide at the Toulouse airport, we will take a panoramic city tour to witness the enchanting skyline of the Pink City (Ville Rose) Toulouse. After the panoramic city tour, we will take our transfer to the wine capital of France, Bordeaux. We will check in at our hotel after taking a panoramic tour of the city of Bordeaux. Overnight in Bordeaux.

Day 2: Médoc Wines

After breakfast, we will explore the wines from the region of Médoc, which is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde region. We will visit the castle where Margaux wines are produced and learn about how they are produced, and then we will taste Margaux wines from various years. After wine tasting in Margaux, we will set out to Pauillac. We will taste wines at the castle in Pauillac and then head back to Bordeaux. Overnight in Bordeaux.

Day 3: Saint-Émilion and Organic Wines

After breakfast, we will check out and leave Bordeaux. We will set out to visit the Saint-Émilion commune and the vineyards in the region which are both UNESCO World Heritage sites. We will have a pleasant tour walking the narrow streets of Saint-Émilion, which is a lovely medieval town. After lunch, we will go on a vineyard trip on which we will learn about organic wine productionw and will taste some of the choice organic wines of the region that are classified as “Grand Cru”. Overnight in Saint-Émilion.

Day 4: Saint-Émilion Wines

We will discover some of the production and tasting secrets about the wines of the Saint-Émilion region on our trips to vineyards where we will also have a chance to taste the wines Lalande de Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, the best well-known wines of the Saint-Émilion region. Overnight in Saint-Émilion.

Day 5: Saint-Émilion / Toulouse

After breakfast, we will have free time in Saint-Émilion, and after that, we will set out to Toulouse airport.
